Intermediate Supplies
I put together an intermediate or mid-level supply list to help make it easier for you to get ready for Elf Season. This is for people who plan to keep things pretty easy most of the time with one or two more creative or complicated poses. If you're looking for something a bit more ambitious, check out the overachiever list!

I put together a list of supplies to help you get ready for Elf Season. This is for those of you that want to keep things simple and easy this season with a few more complicated poses. If you plan to do a little bit more, check out the Overachiever Lists!

Clear Hair Bands: Great for helping the elf hold items or attaching them to the elf when a glue dot just won’t give you a solid enough hold. Amazon
Clear Tape – This can be used to help the elf hold items or attach items to the elf. While any brand will do, we use this tape for its hold. Amazon
Glue Gun – This can be used to permanently attach items (such as when you are making a candy can sled). I like this is a dual temp gun. Amazon
Extra Glue Sticks – Always a good idea to have some extra glue sticks around. Amazon
Christmas Twine: There are lots of options for twine. I personally like the Christmas themed version from Amazon, but find what appeals to you and what you think you may use later. Amazon
Glue Dots: If you only get one thing to secure your elf, get good glue dots. They will work in a number of situations, are easy to use and don’t damage your elf. Amazon
Fishing Line: This is one of my favorite things to use to make it look like an elf is flying or something they are riding on is flying. If you have heavier items you can always get a stronger fishing line, but this works for most of our poses. Amazon
Candy Canes – These make great props. Order them from a link below or pick some up from the grocery store. You have lots of options, but I personally prefer the more traditional looking ones. Amazon
Christmas M&Ms: Can be used for setting up tic tac toe games or spelling out messages on plates (or just eating when you need a pick me up). You can also pick out some other holiday candy if your family doesn’t love M&Ms. Amazon
Mini Marshmallows: These are a great resource for many poses (not to mention hot chocolate). Amazon
Marshmallow: I like having multiple size marshmallows, but you can pick your favorite depending on the poses you plan to do. Amazon
Christmas “Snow”: We use this as a base for many poses where we want to emulate snow. I also use this under my nativity scene sprinkled with a little bit of glitter. Amazon
5 in Snow Globe. Amazon
Christmas Fabric: You can use these squares as a blanket for your elf, as sheets, as a picnic blanket, etc. You can also use them to make clothes for your elf if you are crafty. If you don’t want to purchase fabric squares you can also use any wrapping paper you have laying around. Amazon
