Clear Tape – This can be used to help the elf hold items or attach items to the elf. While any brand will do, we use this tape for his hold. Amazon
Glue Gun – This can be used to permanently attach items (such as when you are making a candy can sled). I like this is a dual temp gun. Amazon
Extra Glue Sticks – Always a good idea to have some extra glue sticks around. Amazon
Christmas Twine: There are lots of options for twine. I personally like the Christmas themed version from Amazon, but find what appeals to you and what you think you may use later. Amazon
Glue Dots: If you only get one thing to secure your elf, get good glue dots. They will work in a number of situations, are easy to use and don’t damage your elf. Amazon
Candy Canes – These make great props. Order them from a link below or pick some up from the grocery store. You have lots of options, but I personally prefer the more traditional looking ones. Amazon
Christmas M&Ms: Can be used for setting up tic tac toe games or spelling out messages on plates (or just eating when you need a pick me up). You can also pick out some other holiday candy if your family doesn’t love M&Ms. Amazon
Mini Marshmallows: These are a great resource for many poses (not to mention hot chocolate). Amazon
Marshmallow: I like having multiple size marshmallows, but you can pick your favorite depending on the poses you plan to do. Amazon
Christmas “Snow”: We use this as a base for many poses where we want to emulate snow. I also use this under my nativity scene sprinkled with a little bit of glitter. Amazon
